Week 79: Hidalgo

Well Linda got baptized this week!!! It was a super awesome experience!!! We had a close call with the font, but we shoved a rubber glove in the drain and it all worked out!! She was super happy after her baptism. I'm super glad that I had the opportunity to teach her. She was super fun to teach!! She is an awesome 11 year old!
We also had a world wide mission broadcast this week. It was super cool to receive training from the brethren. We are going to take their advice and apply it to our missions!! Things are looking super good here in Hidalgo!! I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be staying with Elder Bailey!!! We've got some big plans for his last transfer!! The church is true!!! I love you all!!!

Week 78: Hidalgo

Well miracles are real!!!! We are going to have a baptism this week!!! I love being a missionary!!! It's the best ever!!!
Linda is getting baptized on Sunday!!!! I'm super excited!!!! Also Melany came to church again. We are hoping that she will get baptized on the 31st!!!

Yesterday one of our members asked us to give them blessings! These members are super awesome! The sister has served 5 missions and the brother 4,  he also served as pretty much an area 70 and does TONS of family history work. The brother asked me to give him the blessing and it was an awesome blessing! God is super pleased with this man. I promised him some pretty cool things!! But more cool was after he was going to do the blessing for his wife but he asked me to do it instead. That was a pretty big honor!
This week they had the ground breaking for the chapel here in Hidalgo! It's going to be super big once its done! I'm super excited for that!!! They started to tear up all the field!!

Things are going super good here for us!!! I love you guys so much!!!! Have an awesome week!!!

Week 77: Hidalgo

This was a pretty good week! We taught the Esquivels a couple of lessons! They weren't able to make it to church though. I was super sad. They won't be able to get baptized this transfer. But she will still get baptized. The daughter of the family without the father was able to make it to church. We also had interviews with president this week. Mine was short and sweet. He told me to keep up the good work. I have a migraine right now so it's a little hard  for me to think of anything else to write. I love you so much!!!
