Week 60: Laredo-Casa Blanca

What an amazing week!!! This week really grew my faith. On Friday we were visiting a less active family and we heard it start to pour down rain. We thought about just waitng in the house of the member but we decided that we would go and look for another less active that lived in the apartment. Part of her address got erased off the board so we knew it was 21 but then we didn't know the last number. So we went and knocked on the 10 possiblities and couldn't find her. We didn't want to get on our bikes and bike in the rain so we decided to try by some referrals that we had gotten. The first one we knocked on let us right in! It's the Montemayor family! There is a mom and her boyfriend and two daughters. One is 18 and the other 17. They are super cool. We started to teach them and then the mom told us THAT SHE IS A MEMBER!! She got baptized when she was 14 in Mexico but then went less active. It was a super amazing miracle find this family. The oldest daughter is super on board and wants to get baptzied. The younger daughter will take some more work. They told us that they would be at church on Sunday.

On Sunday morning we locked our bikes up at their apartment complex and walked to church with them! Luckily on our way to church a member saw us and offered us a ride. The member then offered to sit with them during sacrament!! They loved church and are going to come back! It was a super amazing miracle that we saw. The Lord put everything into our hands. It was amazing! I love the mission so much. It was awesome to see a rainy day miracle!!!!
